We will consider all possible hurdles one by one.
Hurdle No 1: A strong Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) with a new formula of social engineering which was carrying away the very basic vote bank of BJP the Forward castes.
Hurdle No 2: The Samajwadi Party (SP) was trying to lure the Rajput Vote bank of BJP, which was a reaction against Brahmins showing ties with BSP.
Hurdle No. 3: The congress and its organization were getting strengthened under a silent leadership enrichment program under the guidance of Rahul Gandhi.
Hurdle No. 4: BJP was seen as a party which forget all its core issues in order to achieve power by any means.
Hurdle No. 5: The party organization was almost dead because of internal differences of established party leaders and lack of any popular, face as its leadership who should be regarded as young, energetic and promising by party men and voters.
Now let’s see how single handedly Varun was used to cross all these hurdles and make sure that party excels and gains support in various sections of society.
Hurdle 1&2 were conquered directly by his hate speech. SP was projected as a pro-Muslim party which silently sounded anti Hindu, and when Varun was put behind bars on the account of NSA (National Security Act), BSP was talked of as a party who are despotic in nature and even SP criticized the step of imposition of NSA on Varun.
Hurdle No 3 was conquered doubly on the one hand Sonia and Rahul were projected as despots who are using politics to settle the family disputes and if they could have kept silent on Varun issue then common people who are against this policy of communalism would think that congress is weak to fight against communal politics.
With a highly popular leader, with a young face who was a victim of POLITICAL crusade BJP organization has found a cause to talk to people to support them, and may or may not they get more than 15 out of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh in this General Election, their vote share is certainly going to increase and this will make BJP to enter in a new era of Leadership which is less on Kalyan Singh or Atal Bihari line and more on MODI ADVANI mindset. Means the core issues of BJP have never been left in order to compromise for power.
